Marine Lance Cpl. Andrew “Ace” Nowacki, was killed by a roadside bomb on February 26, 2005 during Operation Iraqi Freedom, while protecting a convoy.

Community and Service to others were important to Andy, who also served as police officer in Grand River, about 25 miles northeast of Cleveland.

This video was created in 2006 to raise awareness of a scholarship fund created for first responders who share Andy’s character.
